Join Us for a Talk on Mass Photometry - An Analytical Technology for Biomolecular Characterization!

Sciencewerke

Mass photometry is a novel and rapid analytical technology that measures the masses of biomolecules (30 kDa-5 MDa) in their native states.

At this talk, Benjamin will demonstrate the utility of the TwoMP model including (i) monitoring antibody-antigen interactions, (ii) quantifying small molecule-induced complex formation, (iii) assessing sample purity, and others. He will also showcase the capability of the SamuxMP model which is explicitly tailored to measure empty/full ratios of adeno-associated viruses (AAVs).

What's more, register and attend the talk to receive a FREE goodie bag! Refreshment beverages will be served after the talk.

Details of Talk:

Date: 22 Feb 2024, Thursday
Time: 10am - 11am
Venue: NSG BioLabs, Site 3 facility
3 Biopolis Drive, Synapse Building, #16-11/12/13

Speaker

Benjamin Cappe, Ph.D.
Field Applications Specialist, Refeyn Ltd

Benjamin has > 7 years of experience in the field of biochemistry deciphering cell-cell communication and coordination. In particular, he focused on the role of (i) extracellular vesicles (e.g. exosomes and microvesicles) and (ii) various cell death processes such as necroptosis, apoptosis, and ferroptosis. Culminated from his extensive research, Benjamin has published multiple papers on these topics in prestigious journals including iScience and Journal of Extracellular Vesicles. As a Field Applications Specialist at Refeyn, Benjamin aspires to provide technical support for the scientific communities and to open up new possibilities for bioanalytics and research on the functions of biomolecules using the power of light.
