RAPID'E.coli 2 Supplement

RAPID'E.coli 2 Agar for Water Testing is composed of the RAPID'E.coli 2 Chromogenic Medium and a selective supplement. The agar medium provides direct enumeration, without confirmation, of E.coli and other coliforms in water samples.

    Description

    Principle

    Interfering flora in water is inhibited by the supplement, making RAPID'E.coli 2 Agar a good choice for testing water for human consumption and untreated water (such as water from wells, lakes, and rivers) where standard media are often not suitable.

    Features & Benefits

    1. The selective mixture in the supplement makes the RAPID'E.coli 2 agar medium inhibit the main interfering flora in water.
    2. Consists of 6 vials; each vial is sufficient for 200 ml of RAPID'E.coli 2 medium.
    3. Certified and validated by the NF Validation (AFNOR) together with RAPID'E.coli 2 medium.

    Storage

    These vials are stable up to the date stated on the package when stored at 2 - 8℃ in a dark place. After rehydration, they can be stored at 2 - 8℃ for 7 days in a dark place.
